Single-Cut Phaseless Near-Field Measurements for Fast Antenna Testing

چکیده
Single-cut techniques allow for fast antenna characterization by measuring and transforming to far-field individual pattern cuts instead of the full sphere. The cut fields are expanded in a reduced set cylindrical coefficients, which can be used accurately compute main antennas with separable aperture distributions. This communication introduces single-cut near-field transformation method using amplitude-only data. technique is based on measurement magnitude two concentric starts an iterative propagation process retrieve their phases. becomes tool when one interested few cardinal plane only measurements available. proposed phaseless tested simulated measured data, it shows its potential more reliable measurements.

The Use of Statistical Image Classification as a Convergence Criteria in Phaseless Near-field Antenna Measurements
The utility of a variety of objective, quantitative and robust methods of assessing similarities between antenna measurement data have already been highlighted in the literature. These techniques essentially involved the extraction of interval, ordinal, and categorical features from antenna pattern data sets that can then be effectively compared to establish a measure of their adjacency, i.e. s...

This paper deals with a method of the radiation pattern determination of the directional antennas. The method combining both the functional minimization method and the Fourier iterative algorithm is based on the phaseless near-field measurement on two plane surfaces. The method is used for a reconstruction of the phase distribution on the aperture of the measured antenna, and for the determinat...

متن کاملPlanar Near-Field Antenna Measurements Using Nonideal Measurement Locations¤
The standard planar near- eld to far- eld transformation method requires data points on a planerectangular lattice. In this paper we introduce a transformation algorithm in which measurements are neither required to lie on a regular grid nor are strictly con ned to a plane. Computational complexity is O (N logN), where N is number of data points. (Actual calculation times depend on the numeri...
